Austin, Texas
Tommy Sauriol CFP®
Wealth Advisor
Tommy started his career in wealth management and financial planning in 2010 but studying the stock market has long been a hobby. He is passionate about risk management and specializes in analyzing the market and client portfolios. At a young age, his grandfather encouraged him to buy his first stock with his birthday money, and he has been hooked ever since.
His curiosity of the markets led him to study Finance at the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!). After college, Tommy moved from Boise, Idaho to Austin, Texas to start his career with Charles Schwab. He knew nothing about Austin, but quickly discovered a shared love of music, good food and meeting new people. His desire to build closer relationships with clients led him to pursue personal financial planning with LPL Financial in 2011 where he was introduced to Calvin Lee, an experienced advisor, friend and eventual business partner.
Tommy believes that money is deeply personal and deserves a high level of care and attention. To better serve his clients, he studied to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional in 2014, a certification that broadens an advisor’s knowledge and credibility in a variety of important financial topics. As a fiduciary, in advisory relationships, Tommy believes that developing and monitoring financial plans is a vital component to act in the best interest of his clients. Financial decisions can be complex and difficult to understand without seeing the ‘big picture’. He enjoys presenting custom financial plans and discussing ‘what-if’ scenarios with clients. Tommy strives to find comprehensive financial plans for his clients with the goal of building and retaining wealth.
Outside of the office, you can find Tommy watching a football or baseball game, trying a new restaurant, taking in a concert, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Maggie, and their toy-Aussie, Cooper. His roots are in the Northwest, but he’s proud to call Austin home.
