Boyd L. Sorem

Boyd joined Progressive Financial Concepts in 2024 and brought with him over 18 years of financial services industry experience. In his former career, Boyd worked closely with advisors across the country helping them protect client assets and plan for income during retirement. Throughout his travels, he learned many things from some of the most successful advisors from across the country. The biggest of which, was the passion he developed to one day help his own clients realize their financial goals.

Shortly after moving to Scottsdale in 2016, Boyd began to work closely with Progressive Financial and ultimately decided that PFC was the perfect team to join to pursue that passion. Boyd said of Progressive Financial, “I knew that PFC was the perfect place for me to ultimately start the next chapter. We are a team and complement each other well, bringing our own different expertise to the table. We had talked about partnering together for a few years and finally made it a reality in 2024.”

Boyd and his wife Katie have 2 children, live in Arizona and frequently travel back to Boyd’s home state of Colorado. They love exploring the outdoors, which neither state has any shortage of. Boyd may also be found on the golf course if he is able to find any free time.
